On March 15 and 16, 2024, the energy community gathered at the Alter Speicher in Ebersberg to explore the motto "Energy transition - just do it!" at the 31st annual conference of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bayerische Solarinitiativen (ABSI).
The event was a valuable platform for best practice examples and practical support in the implementation of energy transition measures.
Special sessions were aimed at local authority representatives, homeowner associations and other stakeholders looking to benefit from new legislation.
A networking event on Saturday afternoon provided an ideal platform for exchange between initiatives and stakeholders. In addition, exhibitors presented a wide range of information on technology, innovations and sustainability.
MaxSolar was also on site and presented the innovation project "Solarpark Bundorf - model project for municipal electricity and heat supply" on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
The project, which was connected to the grid in September 2023, consists of a 125 MW solar park that not only generates electricity for almost 40,000 households, but also supplies the municipality with district heating and supports the development of an e-mobility charging infrastructure in Bundorf and the neighboring villages. Citizens have the opportunity to participate directly in the 40-hectare solar park via an energy cooperative. This pioneering project combines electricity, heat and e-mobility and brings additional added value to the region.
